This project’s form was inspired by Poul Jensen’s Z-Chair and draws its primary lines from that object. The focus of the work here was refined the craft of multi-dimentional curved joints, that I believe produce a haptic and visual sensuality I intend to explore in future work. The forms and connections tend to encourage haptic engagement, making touch one of the primary sensory experiences.
